FAQ

Since the launch of this site – there has been a mass increase of Angels from LA. I am fielding many questions and here are some of them – with answers.
Q: What can I do to help?
A Go to the main site and give yourself about 15 minutes to read over the teams and projects. Soldiers are always needed for adoption. But if you have another talent like baking, sewing, knitting or crocheting – there are special places for you. Pick a team and submit your name. A team leader will get back to you with the specifics.

Q: I have a crazy schedule and am not sure I want to make any commitments – how can I help?
A: Spread the word about Soldiers’ Angels – PR is always good. Print out fliers from the main site and post them around town. Talk to your school, place of worship or organization about getting involved. Start making Christmas cards out to soldiers and get all your friends to do the same. Don’t lick envelopes and let me know when you have a bunch.

Q: Cash is tight – how can I help
A: Soldiers’ Angels is such a big organization and has so many needs that EVERYONE should be able to find a place and become an Angel. You could join the VA team and go pay a visit to veterans, attend events, offer your services to me or another angel – there is a place for you!

Q: How do I become an official Soldiers’ Angel?
A: By registering at the main site. If you don’t wish to do that – you can register on the forum. If you’d rather stay away from the computer and have done something, anything in the way of supporting soldiers and their families – YOU ARE AN ANGEL!!!

Q: My company allows us to have a charitable organization donations directly withdrawn from our paychecks – but Soldiers’ Angles is not on the list.
A: Make is happen – we are a 501 c 3 non-profit and let us know what we can do to help you make it happen.

Q: I have some extra air miles hanging around – can I donate them?
A: Yes – we fly friends and families to be with our soldiers all the time!

Q: I have some extra cash hanging around and I want to donate it to a good cause.
A: See that chip-in widget in the right sidebar – you can start there. We survive off your charitable donations – thank you.

Q: I have a friend deployed – how do I get him adopted?
A: Go to the main site and submit their name as a hero.

Q: I know a soldier or a soldier’s family in need – how can I get them help?
A: That is why we are here -let us know about them and we will get right on it!
