Operation Overseas Mardi Gras Update

Here is an amazing article about the 225th and the Iraqi Army who enjoyed a Mardi Gras celebration as a result of the efforts of Operation Overseas Mardi Gras.

Members of the 225th Engineer Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division, Multi-National Division — Baghdad, share a little bit of funk and Louisiana spirit with members of the 6th Iraqi Army engineers during a Mardi Gras themed engineer call on Camp Liberty, March 7. The 225th Eng. Bde., pulled out all the stops to make this event as realistic and fun as possible for everyone. Donning the traditional garb and costumes of Mardi Gras, they threw beads and trinkets, listened to music and even enjoyed a fresh bowl of gumbo with their Iraqi engineer partners.
