Angels in Louisiana have been very busy the last few months. Your love and compassion constantly amazes me and brings me to tears. I want to send out a special thank you to the following:
Cindy Sibley of Walker collected a large box of new stuffed animals and some get well, and sympathy cards for the families at Fort Hood. These items were collected byfellow employees at the federal agency United States Geological Survey in Baton Rouge, La.
Janet Scaruffi of Kenner is truly a super angel. I believe from the time Janet wakes to the minute she falls asleep, she is actively helping service members, calling companions and rallying for our troops! It would take a full page to list all of the wonderful things she has done!!! Janet’s son and granddaughter are both deploying in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in January 2010. Thank you Janet for your wonderful heart and undying love.

THANK YOU !!!
Pamela Neal a teacher in Denham Springs, and her students colected 62 stockings stuffed full of goodies for our troops overseas!
Erica Adams, owner of Two Sprouts in New Orleans donated stationary and holiday cards for our d eployed service members.
Jennifer Beruvides and her girl scout troop from Shreveport collected candy and small stuffed aniamls for deployed troops…. 152 pounds worth!
Tara Jeanise and her son’s preschool Children’s Paradies prepared and mailed cards for our deployed service members.
Vicki Varisco Winn shipped @ 50 care packages to our deployed service members.
Suzette with Blue Star Moms of Louisiana #2 shipped 75 care packages to our deployed heroes!
Jennifer Fontenot, Janelle Townsend, Yvette Quave, Lynae Christian, Doreen Swanson, Janet Hodge, Lucille Pourciau & Sandra Johnson from Baptist Temple in Gonzales shipped 40 care packages to our deployed female service members.
