If you want to do something special for Veteran’s Day, to tell a veteran thank you in person, then join us at the Louisiana Veteran’s home, St John Parish, Reserve, Louisiana at 1000 on 10 NOV 09. The Marine Corps League will be doing a flag resting ceremony and recognizing the Veterans who live there. One of the residents was a Japanese POW, another fought at Wake Island, Merchant Marines, all services are represented by residents. Take a couple hours out of your busy day to say thank you to a Veteran. Refreshments will follow. Take the second LaPlace Exit heading West from NOLA, turn right on Airline Highway and the home is a few miles up the road on your right next to the Drivers License station, the VA clinic and just before the National Guard Armory. Hope to See You There….
